Sudan Archives is a modern R&B star, a true innovator, multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer-songwriter who started her career as a self-taught avant-garde violinist. Sudan Archives, aka Brittney Parks, who smoothly combines hip-hop, experimental electronic music, R&B, and pop, for example, Sudanese traditional music in her sound, will release her eagerly awaited third album THE BPM later this year. On the album she introduces a new persona: Gadget Girl, a technologically advanced musician who’s exalted by her embrace of technology. The role of the alter ego is to emphasize the importance of electronic instruments for her expression and art.
