Volunteers

A great team of volunteers comes together every year to help make Flow Festival a unique experience. Volunteer applications will be open again in spring 2025.

Safety

Flow is known as a very safe festival, and it is committed to forwarding the principles of justice, equity and equality. Everyone is welcomed to the festival as they are, and we tolerate no form of discrimination. We expect our entire staff, as well as our associates and distributors to adhere to the same values.

Together with the festivalgoers, we create an event that everyone can safely attend. With questions about the safety of the festival area and possible other matters, such as experiencing or witnessing distressing or inappropriate behaviour, you can approach the nearest member of the safety personnel.

Customers can also receive help at the first aid point, where the Finnish Red Cross first aid personnel can also offer mental health first aid.

Harassment contact person

Flow Festival offers services of a harassment contact person in case of possible harassment situations. The service is intended for all festival guests as well as employees, volunteers, and artists working at the festival.

Flow’s harassment contact person is a healthcare professional whose task is to be an impartial supporter for everyone who has experienced any kind of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate treatment. Harassment situations are primarily dealt with in a solution-oriented manner, and, if necessary, you can be directed to receive help within the scope of a suitable service. The harassment contact person can also help clarify situations together with other festival employees in a multi-professional manner. The harassment contact person has a duty of confidentiality.

The goal is to provide as safe a space as possible for all festival-goers as everyone working or volunteering at Flow. Physical and psychological integrity is everyone’s right. At Flow Festival, you must be able to feel safe without fear of any kind of discrimination or harassment, sexual or verbal harassment, or otherwise improper treatment and behavior.

Toilet Card

Flow Festival is one of the official Toilet Card places. Toilet Card entitles pass holders to access the nearest toilet urgently, without having to queue. Toilet Card is designed for people with, for example, bowel diseases or other functional disorders that cause the need to use the toilet frequently.

The wristband will be applied and tightened on the ticket holder’s wrist upon pick up. Therefore, the wristband cannot be picked up by anyone else but the ticket holder personally.

Can I share a wristband with another person?

The wristband is personal and cannot be shared with anyone else; it must be worn during the whole time it is valid. An unattached wristband is not valid for entrance.

My friend bought our tickets, and now my ticket has my friend's name on it. Do I have to change the name on my ticket?

The name printed on the tickets is just the name of the buyer. Anyone over the age of 18 is allowed to use the tickets; no need to change the name printed on it. However, you should be prepared to prove your age with an official identity card.

Can I sell my ticket to another person?

Yes. If you are unable to attend Flow Festival and you have already bought a ticket, you can seek to sell your ticket to another person. Please note that wristbands that have already been claimed cannot be sold. Wristbands that have been unfastened or cut open will not be exchanged for a new one, as there is only one wristband per ticket. Additionally, remember not to publicly post pictures that display the ticket identification codes (such as barcodes or QR codes).

Can I buy a ticket from a third party? Which ticket safety measures should I follow?

We strongly urge you to buy tickets only through our official ticket sale channels, because we cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from unofficial resellers. However, even though we do not recommend it, you can also buy a ticket from a third party at your own risk. Be extra careful if you are considering buying a ticket from a third party. There have been fake tickets circling around.

Tickets originally bought from Tiketti can be sold or bought safely at Tiketti’s LiputOn service and tickets from Ticketmaster can be sold through their own Resale service. Never buy a wristband without a ticket. We do not sell separate wristbands, the wristbands will be exchanged only for a valid ticket. Wristbands that have been unfastened or cut open will not be exchanged for a new one, as there is only one wristband per ticket.

Can I exchange or upgrade my ticket?

You can switch your ticket to a different date, depending on the availability of tickets. Tickets can also be upgraded to a higher-priced ticket by paying the difference in the ticket prices. A service fee will be charged for all changes. You can update your ticket by contacting the original ticket seller Ticketmaster or Tiketti.

Can I raffle a Flow ticket?

Flow Festival tickets may not be used as competition or raffle prizes, and the festival’s brand may not be used in the marketing of another company or similar entity, unless this has been agreed upon in advance with a representative of the festival.

My favourite artist just cancelled. Can I return the ticket?

At a festival event, both the organizer and the audience should take into account that changes are possible. This could be, for example, a popular artist cancelling their appearance due to unforeseen difficulties not related to the festival organizer. Flow Festival is a coherent whole, which includes some 175 different artists this year. The event has no clear headliners but is rather a combination bigger than any of its single parts. Thus, Flow is different from a single concert event and the ideological framework of many other events. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot refund ticket prices due to individual artist changes. We also hope that our audience would have an understanding of our policies, and the fact that these changes are often sudden and independent of the festival organizer. This way of dealing with possible changes is in line with the common ways of operating in the festival scene at large.
