More Ohr Less Trio, formed by Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Carl Michael von Hausswolff and Christopher James Chaplin brings together three distinct artistic trajectories within experimental music. Born in Berlin-Steglitz in 1934, Hans-Joachim Roedelius emerged as a central figure of West Germany’s late-1960s creative explosion. As a member of Cluster and Harmonia, he became one of the key representatives of progressive rock, later labeled “Krautrock,” known for his meditative, piano- and synthesizer-based soundscapes and an extensive body of solo, collaborative, and multidisciplinary work.

Born in 1956 in Linköping, Sweden, Carl Michael von Hausswolff lives and works in Stockholm. Since the late 1970s, he has worked as a composer using the audio recorder as his primary instrument, alongside a conceptual visual art practice encompassing performance art, sound and light installations, and photography.

Christopher James Chaplin was born in Switzerland in 1962, the youngest son of Charlie Chaplin and Oona O’Neill. A British composer and experimental artist, he has been signed to Austria’s Fabrique Records since 2010 and has released several albums combining experimental electronic music with elements of chamber and contemporary music. Together, the trio offers a sophisticated exploration of avant-garde sound rooted in three highly individual artistic practices.
