Maria Wesander is one of the most trusted DJs on the Helsinki club circuit, playing electronic and organic rhythms across a wide range, depending on the venue and night. She moves through moods, tempos and genres from uplifting disco to Italo disco, Balearic, nu-disco, new beat, synth-pop, electro, house, and acid.
Wesander regularly DJ’s in Helsinki at Kaiku, Siltanen, and the many cocktail bars in the city. She constantly digs for new records, and her sets are always a blend of rarities, oddities and classics. What the tracks have in common are quirky synths, sexy basslines, punchy drum machines, and lots of groove.
