Lambrini GirlsLambrini Girls

Lambrini Girls make music that lands squarely at the intersection of punk, noise rock, and queer club energy. The Brighton-based duo released their debut album Who Let the Dogs Out in January 2025. It’s a record that made an immediate impact and positioned them as one of punk’s most relevant new forces.

With Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Selin Macieira (bass) at the helm, the pair sharpened their lyrical focus on topics such as class, privilege, trans rights and toxic masculinity. Still, the backbone of their sound is equally hard and dance-informed. Their music isn’t didactic; it’s kinetic and exacting, using minimalism and raw textures to drive both critique and catharsis.

Lambrini Girls challenge the status quo not just in their songs but also in the design of their band. Their queer-inclusive aesthetic is central. It refuses to be optional; it appears unapologetically. This isn’t rebellious tacked-on but foundational to their identity as artists.

When Lambrini Girls hit a stage, what comes through is urgency and precision rather than spectacle. Something about their combination of discipline and chaos grips you. They’ve carved out space in the punk canon not by speaking louder than others, but by using fewer words and harder hits.
