Kiri Ra! is a trio formed by Lau Nau (Laura Naukkarinen), Linda Fredriksson and Swedish artist Matti Bye. The music created together by these three long‑standing artists lies at the very heart of their creation. Its spark is found in friendship and unhurried collaboration, in moments when music unfolds naturally through shared improvisation. Kiri Ra! is a gentle whisper in a world that shouts at us every day.

The band’s music has no predefined stylistic goal or fixed point of reference. It breathes organically, at times like a quiet exhale, at others like an excited ripple of musical conversation.

Kiri Ra! creates music that invites the listener to lean in and immerse themselves. We Jazz Records will release the band’s new album, nen, carefully developed over 10 years, in May 2026. nen is an unhurried record by a mature ensemble, whose free-flowing nature quite literally embraces the listener.
