DJ Kridlokk: Hai

With more than two decades of releasing music, DJ Kridlokk has built a steady cult following. The artist released his fourth studio album Hai in April 2024, and the record was instantly recognised as a classic in Finnish hip-hop. The album won the most significant Finnish music prize, the Teosto-palkinto, and received several five-star reviews in the media. Hai was the result of four years of work, and the album showcases the artist’s personal skills, as he composed, produced, and wrote the lyrics himself. Inspired by long walks on the beaches of eastern Helsinki, Hai’s central themes are the underwater world and the deepness of the sea, metaphors for the loneliness of an urban human. The album has been praised for its insightful, high-quality production and its rich, meaningful language.

At Flow 2026, DJ Kridlokk will present a special concert performing the Hai-album in full. In concert, the songs’ feelings of loneliness become a shared experience.
