Dina Ögon

Dina Ögon’s music is built on lightly flowing, organic interplay. The band’s members Anna Ahnlund, Christopher Cantillo, Daniel Ögren and Love Örsan have long moved across the worlds of Swedish rock, jazz, soul and pop, and in this group those backgrounds come together with remarkable ease. Folk rock, indie, soul, bossa nova, jazz and the rhythmic feel of hip-hop are all present, but what matters most is the unified movement of the playing.

In Dina Ögon’s songs, you can hear the legacy of American soul, jazz and rhythm music, but just as strongly, there is northern light, coolness and melancholy. Their sound holds a near-perfect balance of softness and earthiness.

The band, formed in 2020, rose quickly. Their second album Oas brought Dina Ögon two Swedish Grammis awards in 2024, for Album of the Year and Alternative Pop of the Year. A frequent visitor to Finland, the group has also built its following here at speed, and for good reason. Dina Ögon belongs to that rare category of Swedish bands whose sound, atmosphere and sense of the moment come together in a way people fall for very quickly.
