Ben UFO is one of the key British DJs showcasing new electronic music in the 2000s. He rose to prominence as one of the founders of the label Hessle Audio and a host on Rinse FM, being the first DJ to play rising producers such as Joy Orbison and Blawan. Ben UFO is one of the few famous British DJs who doesn’t produce music, and therefore his worldwide reputation is based purely on his musical selection and DJ skills. He started his career in the dubstep scene, but later expanded his musical spectrum to house, UK garage, and grime, selecting future classics as well as unknown quality tracks from the past. Ben UFO continues his work presenting unfamiliar, interesting and experimental dance music on Rinse FM and his DJ gigs almost every weekend in some part of the world.
