Fonki
Behind the artist name Fonki is visual artist Sura Kangaspeska. Kangaspeska is a former architect and now works full-time with painting, murals and tattoos. In her art, Fonki depicts microscopic landscapes featuring lichens, deep-sea creatures and peculiar cells, among other things.

Helmi Silvo
Helmi Silvo is a multidisciplinary artist from Helsinki whose practice centres on the intersections of visual art, music and subcultures. Combining different elements creates a domino effect in which diverse sources of inspiration feed and shape one another, opening up new perspectives on familiar starting points.

Konsta Ojala
Konsta Ojala is an artist living and working in Helsinki. He has studied graphic design in Aalto university, Lahti institute of design and painting in Vilnius Art academy. He is a founder member of SIC gallery and Kalasataman seripaja silkscreen studio, editor and publisher of Adios art books, and editor and publisher of Adults graffiti magazine. Ojala is also the founder of Doggywear clothing label. His works are included in Kiasma contemporary art museum collection and HAM helsinki art museum collection.

Laura and Veera Kemppainen
Laura and Veera Kemppainen are twins originally from Turku who combine their strengths as designers in their projects. They share the same sense of humour, friendship, and way of seeing the world, which they draw on in their work. Veera holds a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University, and Laura has graduated as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts from Turku Arts Academy. Both have worked widely as designers.

Maria Myyryläinen
Maria Myyryläinen’s art is a combination of different techniques and styles, mostly very colourful and filled with playful elements. She rarely plans her artwork in detail but starts with something and lets the process carry her along. She draws inspiration from video games, colours, fantasy and dream worlds, and childhood memories.

Marm0set
Marm0set is a Helsinki-based visual artist who works not only with painting but also with moving image, installation and sculpture. Marm0set’s works have been shown in Finland, elsewhere in Europe and in the United States.
My Widenius
My is a Helsinki-based visual artist with a curious mind and a multidisciplinary creative background. Drawing inspiration from nature, urban life and art history, she creates works that explore identity, desire, love, loss and the human contradictions. Her paintings seek moments of beauty, hope and a touch of humour amid the chaos of contemporary life.

Niko Kylmälä
Niko Kylmälä is a visual artist and graphic designer from Helsinki. Kylmälä’s artistic practice combines a variety of techniques and materials, and his works often reveal both graphic orderliness and abstract unpredictability and irregularity. At the centre of the works are often variations of surfaces, shapes and colour combinations, emerging from the continuous observations Kylmälä makes in his surroundings.

Olga Sophie Kauppinen
Olga Sophie Kauppinen aka Sullydogstar on Helsingistä kotoisin oleva taiteilija. Hän maalaa abstrakteja ja figuratiivisia maalauksia kaksi- ja kolmiulotteisille pinnoille, sekä tutkii maalaamista installaation muodossa. Hän on kiinnostunut alitajunnan kuvakielen ilmaisusta vanhojen mestareiden materiaaleilla.

Roosa Siirilä and Ninni Tapanainen
Roosa Siirilä (1998) is an Institute of Design alumna working with mixed media. She is originally from Lapland and currently lives in Helsinki. Siirilä is inspired by the interfaces between digital and analogue art, colours and dreams.
Ninni Tapanainen (2001) is a Helsinki-based visual artist. She is often inspired by everyday moments she has learned to pause for, unusual forms and people’s distinctive character traits. Recurring themes in her work include characters, maximalism, bright colours and playfulness.

Sofia Hillberg and Nora Nieminen
Sofia Hillberg and Nora Nieminen are a multidisciplinary artist duo from Helsinki. Sofia is inspired by humanity, while Nora draws influence from popular culture.

Terhi Ekebom
Terhi Ekebom (MA) is a Helsinki-based illustrator and comic artist who also creates murals and public art. Ekebom works widely in the field of illustration, producing both commissioned illustrations as an illustrator at Napa Agency and experimental spatial illustration that takes greater artistic freedom. Movement, line, light and nature are central elements in her work.

uuk.kivi (Ulrike Brett Uukkivi) is an Estonian multidisciplinary artist working with tattoos, murals, paintings and graphic prints. Her work blends organic forms with symbolic abstraction, pulling inspiration from bodies, ruins, animism, dream states and introspection.

Valtteri Parikka
Valtteri Parikka is a Helsinki-based tattoo artist and illustrator whose style is built around clear shapes and limited colour palettes. His works bring together classic tattoo imagery, historical illustration, folk art and the aesthetics of contemporary design. The result is timeless, graphically strong imagery.

Ville-Pekka Vihma
Ville-Pekka Vihma, born in Oulu in 1994, lives and works in Järvenpää. In his process, he pays particular attention to the visual language, colours and narrative qualities of his paintings, as well as the dialogue between them. For the artist, it is important that the paintings challenge and entertain the viewer.

vimpari joonas is a Finnish contemporary illustrator whose aesthetic draws inspiration from both Nordic and East Asian illustration traditions. Their figurative works explore bittersweet themes, often viewed through a feminine lens. vimpari has one mission: to create banger art.
