Flow Festival welcomed 91,000 visitors to Suvilahti

17. AUGUST 2026

Flow Festival 2026 brought together 91,000 visitors in Helsinki’s Suvilahti over the weekend, once again offering a diverse and timely program full of music, art, food, and the unique festival atmosphere.

Global breakout star sombr, who rose to international prominence over the past year, performed in Finland for the first time and captivated festival-goers with his highly anticipated set, inspiring thousands to sing along. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds closed the weekend’s Main Stage program with a powerful two-hour spectacle. As darkness fell, the band’s intense energy swept the audience into a state of collective euphoria.

Geese brought their uncompromising rock spirit to the Silver Arena, commanding the attention of a large and enthusiastic crowd. Later, as Sunday evening settled in, Swedish pop star Lykke Li transformed the vast tent into an intimate space with her ethereal performance. The final show at the Black Tent came from British duo Lambrini Girls, whose distinctive performance, expertly blending politics and irreverent fun, proved truly one-of-a-kind.

Under the shelter of the Balloon 360°, audiences experienced a wide spectrum of musical styles throughout Sunday. During the day, Jukka Eskola and Teppo Mäkynen’s Drum’n’Brass project won over the crowd together with Guards Brass Collective, assembled from members of the Finnish Guard Band. In the early evening, Jamaican roots reggae pioneers The Congos took to the stage, and the night concluded with South Korean trio Sailor Honeymoon, whose punk performance stood in stark contrast to hyper-commercial K-pop.

Sunday also marked the return of the beloved Family Sunday, which began as the festival gates opened and welcomed the youngest visitors to the festival site. The children’s program featured favourites such as Skidit Disco and Helsinki Dance Institute, both of which got young audiences dancing, while DJ Academy Helsinki introduced children to the world of DJing.

Flow Festival 2027 will take place in Helsinki’s Suvilahti from 13 to 15 August 2027. Super Early Bird tickets will go on sale on Monday, 17 August 2026, at 10:00 AM through Flow’s official ticket shop and Tiketti.
