GoldLink added to Flow's program, Little Simz cancels her performance

Hip-hop superstar GoldLink will perform at Flow Festival on Sunday. One of the most successful artists in Finland, Chisu, has also been added to the festival program. Furthermore, Little Simz is canceling her concert at Flow due to scheduling conflicts with her Netflix series.

American rapper GoldLink has been added to Flow Sunday’s program. GoldLink, who gained the general public's attention with his 2017 mega-hit Crew, has since become a superstar selling out giant arenas like Madison Square Garden and nominated for a Grammy award. R&B, soul, and hip-hop go hand in hand in GoldLink's music. The artist has gathered hundreds of millions of Spotify streams and made collaborative songs with musicians like Tyler, the Creator, Kaytranada, and Christina Aguilera. Additionally, Little Simz has had to cancel her concert at Flow due to the changed filming schedules of her Netflix series.

Songwriter and producer Chisu has also been added to Flow Festival Sunday’s program. Known as a brilliant performer, Chisu is one of Finland's most acclaimed and respected pop artists. She has been awarded 12 Emma Music Awards, and her songs have streamed over 100 million times. Chisu, who has left a significant mark on Finnish pop music and is one of Finland's most successful artists, will freeze her solo career this year. Chisu's last Flow gig will be a unique experience full of surprises.

The Other Sound x Sun Effects line-up is completed with AT/PT, the super-group formed by Finnish experimental and electronic music legends Antti Tolvi and Pink Twins. Arushi Jain's performance on the same stage at Flow has been canceled due to visa problems. Moreover, DJ Renaz has been added to Backyard's repertoire. DJ Renaz has become known to the general public as a journalist, radio host, and member of the Mellow Yellow collective. Her sets focus on hip hop and R&B, where afrobeat and amapiano sounds serve as perfect additions. Bianca Lexis, previously announced for Backyard, has had to cancel her European tour due to health reasons.

Flow Festival takes place in Helsinki, Finland, on the 12th–14th of August 2022.

The festival will host around 150 artists. Already announced acts are Gorillaz, Florence + The Machine, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Burna Boy, Jamie xx, Michael Kiwanuka, JARV IS…, Princess Nokia, MØ, Sigrid, Bikini Kill, Freddie Gibbs, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Fred Again.., and many more.
