livwutang began her DJ career at Seattle’s pirate radio and DIY raves. Her gigs are a fearless mix of house, dub, R&B and beyond, all mixed with style. Her musical influences come from her father’s Togolese roots, who ran his own radio station in the US, as well as the innovative momentum of Black American music and the DJ’s love for timeless vocals and earworm melodies.

Based now in New York, livwutang has been in high demand recently, playing in Dekmantel Selectors, Panorama Bar, De School and as a resident at Nowadays in her hometown. Last winter, she toured Asia, and her 2024 calendar is full of club and festival gigs in the US and Europe.
