London-born pianist Keval Shah, who currently resides and teaches in Helsinki, is a rising star in European classical music, known for both his achievements in traditional repertoire and his innovative contemporary programming. A celebrated collaborator with singers, Shah was only 25 years old when he was appointed as the Lecturer of Lied at Sibelius Academy, the youngest ever to be chosen for the position. For his Flow Festival debut, Keval performs a piano recital based on works by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, including pieces written especially for him.
