RonTrentPresentsWARM

Ron Trent is a well-known American house DJ and producer who started his career in the 1980s. At Flow Festival, Trent will introduce his latest project, WARM, which significantly diverges from traditional club-oriented house music. WARM gently blends various genres, including quiet storm, yacht rock, bossa nova, and krautrock.

Trent’s atmospheric project WARM had been germinating for years but only reached its final form during the early days of the pandemic. The result is the album What Do the Stars Say to You, designed to be performed by a live band and reflecting Trent’s affinity for early 80s music. Trent brought together a diverse group of long-admired artists for the album, including French violin legend Jean-Luc Ponty, Brazilian Azymuth band drummer Ivan Conti, Italian ambient artist Gigi Masin, and Texas instrumental music phenomenon Khruangbin. The entire project was finalised by François Kevorkian, a house maestro from New York, who mastered the album.
