Renata Do Valle was born and raised in Brazil, listening to the musical heritage of her home country but also the disco records her dance teacher-mother brought from New York. Do Valle later moved to NYC, started to DJ, and became a regular in many local clubs. She has been running the label Hello Sailor since 2015 and releasing music from several artists, including Esa and Millos Kaiser, who both played at last year’s Flow Festival. As a DJ, Do Valle searches for music from unexplored territories and treats her DJ slots as an absolute honour. She plays colourful and eclectic music and aims to tell a pleasant story and make the audience happy with her musical choices.
