<p><strong>Jaye Ward</strong> has been an active DJ on the London queer club scene for several decades. She was playing wonky and experimental electronic music already before acid house became popular in the late 1980s, and when house and techno made their breakthrough in British nightlife, she continued with the flow. Currently, Ward plays at the underground clubs of several British cities and festivals all around Europe. She also hosts shows on Mutant Radio and Netil Radio and releases music under her labels PLU and Drastic Decline. Of the late 1980s acid house generation Ward is one of the few DJs still active in the underground. Ward continues her long DJ career because she thinks music is just getting better and better.</p>
