Flow Festival announces the lineup for the Voimala stage

The biggest of the buildings in Suvilahti, a decommissioned power plant, is a huge, dark and atmospheric space covering over 1000 square meters, and will once again serve as a shrine for electronic music for one magical weekend in August. Voimala will host Siberian native Nina Kraviz dropping some vintage acid into her raw club pulse, Luke Slater’s best known alias, with a 20-year history of techno behind it, Planetary Assault Systems, the Italian founder of experimental label Presto!? Lorenzo Senni, Shed from Berlin with his live set’s seamless combination of Detroit and dub, a live performance by Detroit techno legend Model 500, nature-inspired musician and producer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Frenchman Michel Amato’s new The Hacker presents Amato, productive Danish composer and artist SØS Gunver Ryberg and Berlin-based dj Hayden Payne’s techno set, the post-punk and industrial mix of Phase Fatale.

The Finnish scene will be represented at Voimala by internationally respected electronic music producer and musician Aleksi Perälä, purveyor of shamanistic space rock and frontman for K-X-P Timo Kaukolampi, Kaiku and Ääniwalli regulars Emma Valtonen and Kristiina Männikkö with a back-2-back set as well as Helsinki-based dj Antti Salonen.
