Ebo Taylor has been one of the key influencers of Ghanaian highlife music tradition for over six decades, and has inspired afrobeat and jazz musicians and hip-hop producers alike. As the guitarist and leader of his band, Taylor mixes the traditional Ghanaian war and children’s songs faultlessly together with jazz trumpets and meandering West African rhythms.
