Natha / Vri-il replaces Mugison, changes in Friday's Flow yard timetable
Mugison has unfortunately cancelled his gig because of personal reasons. He will be replaced by Natha / Vri-il, who will start Friday's programme at Flow yard. The italian artist's music is characterized by hypnotic improvisation and the use of peculiar instruments. Flow sees Cavaliere use wooden boxes, a bass tuned with metal plates and the feedback of c-cassettes as instruments. Visual extra will be provided by a miked wooden board, on which Finnish artist Elsa Salonen will draw, thus forming one of the sound sources to be used.
Because of the change, the performing times of Siiri Nordin & The Sweeters, TV-Resistori and Aavikko will be postponed slightly.

Madlib's DJ set replaced by Ali Shaheed Muhammad
Hiphop producer Madlib's DJ set at Flow06 will be replaced by hiphop artist Ali
Shaheed Muhammad, known from the classic group A Tribe Called Quest. A new addition to the
programme is Boston-based Edan, who combines hiphop with psychedelic rock and
soul.
Madlib has cancelled all his shows for the rest of the year, blaming his busy
studio schedule. The ten-member Stones Throw performance in Flow will otherwise
remain as planned, and Madlib produced material is included in the repertoire.
