NAO and Seinabo Sey come to Flow Festival
Flow Festival, organised at Helsinki’s Suvilahti area on 9.-11. August, has confirmed some new performers. Flow will host British R&B talent NAO, whose second album Saturn was released last October and praised in Guardian, Sunday Times and NME. NAO is on the road to global superstardom and has already worked with Mura Masa, Disclosure, 6lack and Nile Rodgers. Seinabo Sey, a Swedish-Gambian singer known for her rich and soulful voice, will also perform. The soul artist with a sharp ear for an irresistible pop hook released her brilliant second album I'm a Dream last year.
Also confirmed to appear at Flow is Pariisin Kevät. What started out as Arto Tuunela’s solo project has grown into a real band - and one of the biggest in Finland. Current members are Artturi Taira, Ilari Kivelä, Antti Pouta and Reko Aho. Pariisin Kevät is releasing their 7th album in August and the show at Flow is their official record release celebration. Charismatic singer-songwriter Elias Gould is releasing his debut album in June and will appear at Flow in August. Gould charmed music fans all over Finland with his debut single Huvilakatu in 2015 and since then he has gone on to release a number of singles, an EP and pulled off some important features on singles by rap stars like JVG and Gasellit.
