Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but based now in Helsinki, Pedro MacLoughlin has been playing his Xample-project live sets in Helsinki clubs, ug-venues and outdoor parties at an accelerating pace within the last few years. MacLoughlin began DJing and organizing events in 2008 in his home country. He started programming music very young after hearing techno milestones like Richie Hawtin, Robert Hood and Basic Channel. Xample&#8217;s live sets are made with synthesizers, drum machines, turntables and CDJ decks, and the soundscape consists of techno-, rave- and sci-fi-influences and self-made sounds. The Xample live performance is highly improvised, using analogue and digital instruments, making the soundscape ever-changing and unique; an element of unpredictability is constantly present.
