Blixa Bargeld – Solo Vocal Performance
Composer, songwriter, singer, actor, writer and lecturer are some of the titles used in attempt to label the intriguing artistic career of Blixa Bargeld. The multitalented artist, who also played in The Bad Seeds and is a key figure in the group Einstürzende Neubauten, breaking the barriers of industrial music since the 80s, has gained a cult status for himself. In his solo performances, Bargeld builds a new architecture of music with an acoustic, and at times cacophonic sound collage, created with the mere use of his voice and sound effects.
