!!! (can be pronounced as any three repeating syllables, ”chk chk chk” being the most popular way) is possibly the fiercest dance-punk combo around. One of the most interesting signings on Warp Records, the band also represents a new direction for the legendary British label, traditionally known as a flagship of experimental electronic music.
Founded ten years ago, !!! can be remembered from such great songs as Me and Giuliani down by the Schoolyard or their breakthrough album Louden Up Now. With their latest album Myth Takes, released in March to critical acclaim, the band continues to develop their crunchy, highly danceable sound. The group, who have rocked the world’s biggest stages alongside such acts like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, is described as an extremely energetic live band.
