Jugi Kaartinen (VJFinland)
Jugi Kaartinen is a digital jack of all trades and master of some: A romantic semantic renaissance geezer. With twenty plus years of working with pixels and digital sound, he’s gained some insight into the subject(s). For the past five years Jugi has been doing visuals gigs for Finnish festivals like Koneisto, UMF, Assembly and Pixelache. He’s created visuals for acts like Coldcut, Mouse on Mars and Jori Hulkkonen among others. Jugi’s live visuals are often complex layered sets of typography, photography, live video and abstract objects served in a tight synchronization with the beats.
