Random Doctors (VJFinland)
Random doctors is a Helsinki-based VJ group formed in 2004. Since then, Random doctors have been actively doing live visualizations for a variety of live audio events and art projects. For example, during the year 2006, Random doctors participated in Finnish festivals like Pixelache, Koneisto, UMF206, Flow and Carelian Faces. From the beginning, Random doctors have been working in symbiosis with the visual art and live music association Vadelma.
Random doctors create live mixed visual projections and installations from pre-edited and live visual materials for specific contexts. In live audio and club events, Random doctors collectively create narrative, cut and paste video screenings synchronized to the music, movements and emotions. Video projections can be seen as temporary visual graffiti commenting on the surrounding environment and society. Randomize it! Don´t Criticize it!
