Katusea Soundsystem (FIN)
Katusea is a Helsinki-based record label and artist collective formed by Rrimöykk, Pijall and Matti Pentikäinen, from the indie rap group Ceebrolistics, together with Niclas Kristiansson from Po’land. Katusea stands for experimental electronic music and all kinds of mishmash around it.
Katusea’s gigs feature records from ambient, such as Murcof and Rothko, to breakbeats and dubtechno from Rhythm & Sound to Burnt Friedman, topped with the latest dubstep grooves. The soundsystem is also known to boost their performances with vocalists and live material played from laptops and tweaked with various effects.
