“10 years of Tiefschwarz” (GER)
Ali and Basti Schwarz – brothers and music lovers, created Tiefschwarz out of a passion garnered from their experiences as DJs since 1990. Working with acclaimed producer Peter Hoff since 1996, they have released two albums and around twenty singles. Their remixing talent has been put to use by everyone from underground scene leaders Masters at Work and DJ Hell to superstars like Kelis, Missy Elliott, Depeche Mode and Madonna.
As high-profile DJs Tiefschwarz continue to play their residencies at Space, Ibiza, Robert Johnson, Frankfurt & Weekend Club, Berlin as well as their favourite clubs and festivals all over the globe. Since 2006 they run their own label Souvenir. This year heralds the anniversary of ’10 Years of Tiefschwarz’, celebrated by a retrospective compilation and a worldwide tour.
