The new festival venue brings back together Flow’s daytime programme and night-time clubs

Completed in 1909, Suvilahti power plant was Helsinki’s first power station. The plant ceased working in 1974. Recently the city has been planning to use the area for a culture centre use similar to the Cable Factory. Helsinki city dwellers recognize the area by the old gasometer and the steel frame in the junction of Itäväylä and Sörnäisten rantatie. The location is well connected, also because of the new Kalasatama metro station.

Flow was voted the event of the year 2006 in Basso Gaala in May, which awarded last year’s top achievements. Thanks to all voters!

Festival’s programme will be published on May 30th.
